Incline Cable Fly

Intermediate Cable Isolation Chest

How to do it

  1. Place an incline bench at 30-45 degrees between two cable towers with the pulleys low.

  2. Lie back and hold the handles with arms open and elbows slightly bent.

  3. Bring your hands together over your chest in a hugging motion.

  4. Open back up slowly until your chest is stretched.

Common mistakes

  • Bending and straightening the elbows so it turns into a press.

  • Opening too wide and straining the shoulders.

Tips

  • Targets the upper chest with constant tension through the whole movement.

  • Light-to-moderate weight for 10-15 reps.
