Forearms

Reverse Wrist Curl

Beginner Dumbbell Isolation Forearms

How to do it

  1. Sit and rest your forearms on your thighs with palms facing down.

  2. Let your wrists hang past your knees.

  3. Lift the backs of your hands as high as you can.

  4. Lower slowly until the wrists feel a stretch.

Common mistakes

  • Too much weight, so the elbows bob up and down.

  • Cutting the range short — the bottom portion is the useful part.

Tips

  • This side is usually far weaker than the gripping side — go light.

  • Reps of 12-20 suit it better than heavy loads.
