Abs

V-Up

Intermediate Bodyweight Isolation Abs

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with arms straight overhead and legs straight.

  2. Lift your torso and legs at the same time until your hands reach your feet in a V shape.

  3. Lower slowly to the start without slamming down.

Common mistakes

  • Swinging the arms for momentum.

  • Straining the neck forward.

Tips

  • Bend your knees (tuck-up) if the straight version is too hard.

  • Quality beats quantity — 8-12 clean reps is plenty.
